Dr. Eugene L. Nassif, Jr. is a native of Cedar Rapids and graduated from Washington High School. He graduated from The University of Iowa and the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed a residency in foot and ankle surgery at Straith Hospital For Special Surgery in Michigan.
Dr. Nassif has been providing quality podiatric medical care to Cedar Rapids and the surrounding communities since 1990. He established the Foot and Ankle Specialists of Iowa in April of 1993.
Dr. Nassif is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and President of the Iowa Podiatric Medical Society (IPMS). He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and was a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is the Iowa Chairperson for the APMA PAC and has been a board member of the IPMS. Dr. Nassif is a member of the State Advocacy Committee of the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA). He is a Fellow of the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons.
He is a Board-Certified foot surgeon. Dr. Nassif is a member of the medical and surgical staff at St. Lukes Hospital, Mercy Medical Center, and Anamosa Community Hospital. In addition, Dr. Nassif is affiliated with The Surgery Center Cedar Rapids.
He is an active lecturer and preceptor for the Cedar Rapids Medical Education Foundation Family Practice Residency Program. Dr. Nassif has authored several publications and has been a regular columnist on foot health for The Involvement Magazine. He is an active community lecturer and is available upon request.
